Bro. Mark was raised in Calvert City KY. He is a 1981 Graduate of Marshall County High School; a 1985 graduate of Murray State University; and a 1991 graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Bro. Mark has served 6 churches in his 32 years of ministry. He has served churches in extreme Southwest KY; Southeast KY and Southwest Georgia. Prior to coming to Blood River Baptist Association, in August of 2017, Bro. Mark was the Senior Pastor of FBC La Center KY.
