As the population of the Commonwealth of Kentucky began to grow and churches were born, the need for more Baptist Associations became apparent. So, on October 28, 1870, eleven churches formerly from West Union, Little River, and Western District Associations came together on October 28, 1870, to form Blood River Baptist Association.
Since that time, the LORD has blessed Blood River Baptist Association. Today, Blood River Baptist Association is made up of over 40 cooperating churches in Marshall, Calloway, and Graves County, Kentucky, and Henry County Tennessee.
Blood River Baptist Association exists to aid, advise, and arm pastors, churches, and Christians to be on mission with Christ.
